I am utterly shocked at my own studying attitude this semester.
I've never been a diligent student (i was superbly hardworking in secondary school but it all went downhill from there, hmmm) , but this time I've really outdone myself!! For the 4 exams this semester, I'm comfortably starting only a few days or one day before the actual paper! and since I've done that for my 2 previous papers, I'm doing the same for my last 2 papers too.
And it's like I'm happily crafting with clay at my workbench even with the examination schedule totally looming on me. I can't even get into the panicky mood no matter how hard I try!! HMMM. but it's good news lar. haha.
And this is my very very FINAL LAP OF EXAMS! I don't think I'll be coming into contact with much books or webcasts or notes after this Wednesday. Oh, makes one delirious just to think about it. I used to think I'll dread graduating but I am very much looking forward to ending this irksome long academic journey. Can't say I like the local education system very much. (watching the Channel8 show on teaching just reminded me of all the crapload of homework we used to have, and piles of assessments and GOODNESS)
So I'll be ending mine with an ultimate high, or low depending on how you look at it. :)
Anyway, what I really wanted to say is that I'm almost certainly sure that I'll be heading back to school next sem!! (ahhaha after all that i'm-free discussion) NOT TO STUDY LAR. but to set up a stall for Play-withclay in school!
I've been coming up with all sorts of cool ideas for the stall (i tell you i'm ignoring the books) and like what to display and who should i hire to accompany during slow periods (like when everybody's rushing to class and ignoring me and the stall in all its awesomeness). haha. BUT HOW EXCITING. Actually anything that is remotely linked to my shop gets me really excited. haha.
OH, i have to admit that I'm studying quite hard (by my standards, anything more than one day's worth of reading) for my astronomy module. The course title is Heavenly Mathematics and Cultural Astronomy. Already, the gagging is coming up my throat just hearing the name eh. Me and the boy even bought a globe just for studying for the exams lar. But its helping my very geographically-challenged mind. I never knew that Canada was that near the North Pole, or that Hawaii is really right smack in the middle of nowhere. And we already have plans to travel to Norway one day, to experience midnight sun (where there's daylight during midnight! meaning the sun never sets!). I think it'll be a real bother when we're trying to sleep, but how cool is that for a natural phenomenon. haha.
I AM A GEEK.
:)
can you hear the soft swoosh of the butterflies' wings. 1:35 AM.
