A flip-book for you, with our story simplified.

lately, (or rather for the past months) i've really lost the drive to blog, to record every snippet of my life. but valentine's day just passed!! and i think i really should take down whatever happened, on the very first vday i had someone of the opposite gender to celebrate the love with. :D

so, the few weeks building up to the day itself, i had kinda convinced myself he wouldnt be getting me flowers, because smart alec me had told him not to, and even stupidly added in that, i dun even like flowers, so dun waste money on them. but as v-day drew closer, it dawned on me that perhaps, i'll be rather disappointed if i really DONT receive flowers that day. because, despite the all too wellknown fact about how flowers' prices are ridiculously jacked up and they wither in a matter of days, there's just something rather significant in a boyfriend STILL spending money on flowers for the girlfriend, despite all the reasons not to.

so when the doorbell rang, and the doorhole displayed a smattering of pink, blue and white pressed against it, i was more than thrilled. and true enough, there was my boy, with a bouquet of 12 pink roses, lavender forget-me-nots and lovely little bushes of baby's breath. :)

headed to school with him for a short one hour of classes (more than half the class was absent!! goodness, paktoring over studies. haha) and then, it was off to john's for couple bbq with elly too!! haha, really didn't envision vday being that way, but it was pretty fun!! :D with all the sparklers and yummy food fit for ten. :)

and then back to my place, where the boy urged me to go bathe, cause he had to type an email. or so he claims, cause when i came out, there was the gigantic star-lamp, which i had kinda swooned over for a while in school, hanging in the corner of the room, with my laptop screen flashing the words "you'll always be the star in my life". awwwwwwwww.

alright, i am now currently in search of the best ways to preserve the flowers, before they DO wither, or moult or just have petals falling off. do contribute if you have any ideas to shareee!!
