BANGKOKomg, took me so many days just to upload all of these photos, 5 in a batch at one time. SOOO SLOWWWWW.
so here, i'll have one-liners for the photos instead of lengthy commentaries. hahah.
i love to just stare at that big black board of flickering letters and fantasize about what the people flying to all the exotic locations are doing.
i think i've got an entire album of yiqiao's and alex's photos. haha. that's what happens when you're the only avid photographer in the group. :p
there. my cute pretty girlfriend!! :)
From left to right:
boyfriend girlfriend.
boyfriend girlfriend.
:)
the first of colourful bangkok taxis i'll see. NEON pink can!
the girl in the small LAN space in the hotel - straight out of an IKEA catalogue!
late at night at Mcdonalds, scantily-clad girls (who probably worked in the dirty bars around the area, i'm not judging k! they were wearing thin nightgowns for goodness sakes! and the light turqoise one was almost baring her butt already la!) barged into the place like nothing was out of the ordinary.
the highest tower in southeast asia. or something like that. haha.
hahahahaha.
told you they have very colourful transportation vehicles! Even the bikers were wearing rainbow-coloured jackets, unlike Singapore's where everyone just opts for black or grey!
overhyped donut chain!
i've never been very fond of donuts actually (i find all too sweet except for the plain one), but the futile search in M'sia for DunkinDonuts and the boy's raving about it got me pretty psyched for DD in bangkok. but it was.. BLEAHHH.
"woahh so many green veges! must take must take!!" snap snap snappp!
"baby baby look!! nice hor, my green veges!! :) "
okay lor, bo pian wad. MBJ SAY ONE. :(
sneaked a shot inside IMAX theatre! after all 4 of us subsequently fell asleep during different intervals of the movie 'aliens vs monsters'. We had sofas, pillows, blankets, and lulling lighting!! PLUS one long day of shopping, made us a very sleepy foursome. :)
yup i managed to go snorkelling halfway during the movie too. :)
hellish tuktuk rides. me and qiao screamed like babies on the first tuktuk, but we gradually got used to being in the opposite lane at 90km/hour and having big buses rumble past us, close enough to sweep our hair.
we entertained ourselves with nights of darts, fulsbol (how to spell!!) and pool.
this innocent pushcart at the foot of our hotel served up the spiciest and shiokest chilli all 4 of us had ever ate. Alas, the pushcart never did come back to the hotel after that night.
sometimes, people forget. :)
very nice thai server at A&W. :) people there are all generally warm and kind! :)
lumpinee stadium for a firstrow experience of thai boxing.
not all as glamourous as it seemed, and the event didn't stir up quite a big crowd as we had hoped. :(
the boys! during one of our best(most expensive) meals in bangkok!
i was mesmerised by all these cascading streams of coloured balls. Very tempted to get one, but didn't. kinda beating myself up over it now. :(
