Starting a business is a very exciting, disappointing, crazy, tiring, fulfilling, happy rollercoaster ride.
I've kinda rode on a high when it first started out, and I started getting compliments and my customer list just kept getting longer, everything was incredibly flattering. And of course, the additional pocket money never hurt. :)
However, problems are starting to arise, with incompatibility of materials and such starting to materialise from the initial bubble of ecstasy. Now it's just a mad frenzy of trying to find the RIGHT tools and materials, which is INCREDIBLY tiring and can sometimes yield no results even after spending days googling and emailing for help. And it just sucks that Singapore is a land where very very very little claymakers reside, so there's like only this extremely tiny pool of like-minded enthusiast and retailers you can get support from.
which is horrid.
and I start to get very dejected, and I stare at all my invested materials and mentally calculate the amount of effort (moolah and mental effort) I've put into the blogshop. And how it's all going to go down the drain if I just call it wraps.
And then I trudge on, hurtling through all the obstacles that never seem to end.
It's a long journey ahead.
Welcome to the world of business, baby.
